CALLING ALL BLUES LOVERS.
I went to Tres Hombres in Woodland Park Friday night [11/14/03] to help out Detroit Frank DuMont by shooting some video for him, but I never expected the treat I got. Frank had warned me that he and his group might be a little rusty being brand new to each other. NOT! I'm here to tell ya people, there's a new guy in town, and his name is Frank DuMont. FANTASTIC! This guy is awesome. Blistering guitar riffs and a voice that was made to sing the blues make this band a must see. The crowd (myself included) was on their feet stomping, clapping, dancing, and grooving. This is bar none the best blues I've heard in Colorado to date. Frank and his group were opening for James Cotton, and I have to say that James had his work cut out for him following these guys.
If you get the chance, RUN DON'T WALK to see Frank DuMont. He will rock your world with some of the best blues you'll hear anywhere. You'll think you landed on Beale Street.
Peace,
The Sound Guy
